Our services include aesthetic injectables like Botox, Dysport, DAXXIFY, dermal fillers, and Sculptra. We provide Korean-inspired facials, chemical peels, and HiFu non-surgical lifting. For skin rejuvenation, we offer RF microneedling, SkinPen microneedling, Vampire Facials, Rejuran Healer, and Sciton BBL laser treatments including Forever Young BBL, Forever Clear BBL, and MOXI. We also offer medical weight loss with Semaglutide and Tirzepatide, peptide therapies, hormone optimization, NAD+ therapy, IV vitamin drips, and body contouring. Every treatment at Better Med Spa is performed by trained, licensed medical professionals under the direction of our medical director, Dr. Brett Brechner, DO. Our providers hold the certifications and advanced training required to safely and effectively perform aesthetic injections, laser treatments, facials, and wellness therapies in the state of Illinois. We invest in ongoing education so our team stays current on the latest techniques and technologies. You'll always know who is performing your treatment, and you're welcome to ask about their qualifications at any point. Transparency about who's caring for your skin is something we take seriously.

Your first visit typically starts with a consultation. You'll sit down with a member of our medical team who will assess your skin, discuss your concerns and goals, and recommend a personalized treatment plan. There's no rush and no pressure to commit on the spot. If you decide to move forward with a treatment that same day, your consultation fee is credited toward the cost. We'll walk you through everything, including what the treatment involves, what results to expect, any aftercare instructions, and how long it takes. Our Lincoln Park office is relaxed and welcoming, and our goal is for you to leave feeling informed and confident in your plan.

It depends on the treatment. Many of our services have little to no downtime. Botox and filler appointments are quick with minimal recovery, and most patients return to their normal activities the same day. Facials and IV therapy require zero downtime. Chemical peels range from no visible peeling for lighter options to a few days for deeper peels. RF microneedling and SkinPen typically involve 1 to 3 days of redness. Laser treatments like BBL or MOXI may have a day or two of mild warmth and flaking. We'll give you clear expectations before every procedure so you can plan your schedule accordingly. If downtime is a concern, let us know and we'll recommend options that fit your lifestyle.
