What are smoker’s lines?
Smoker’s lines, or perioral lines, are the fine vertical wrinkles that develop around the lips. While often associated with smoking, they also result from aging, sun exposure, repetitive puckering, and genetic factors.
How do fillers work for smoker’s lines?
Soft hyaluronic acid fillers are injected into the lines and border of the lips to add subtle volume, hydrate the skin, and smooth away wrinkles. Results are immediate and can last 6–12 months, depending on the product and individual metabolism.
Are there side effects or downtime?
There are minimal side effects. Some swelling, redness, or bruising can occur, but it’s temporary! You can usually return to normal activities right away.
