DSIP peptide therapy for deeper, more restorative sleep without sedation. Clinician-guided protocols at Better Med Spa in Lincoln Park. Starting at $234/month with a required consultation and lab review.
Insufficient deep sleep despite logging enough hours. Stress-driven cortisol spikes that suppress overnight recovery. Age-related decline in slow-wave sleep quality. Circadian disruption from travel or irregular schedules. Poor recovery that limits training output or daily performance. DSIP also supports healthier cortisol rhythms and may promote growth hormone release during sleep.
DSIP is a nine-amino-acid neuropeptide that crosses the blood-brain barrier and enhances GABAergic signaling while reducing excitatory neural activity. This promotes delta-wave brain patterns associated with deep, restorative sleep. Administered via small subcutaneous injection 30-60 minutes before bed. It modulates your natural sleep architecture rather than sedating you.
Every DSIP protocol starts with a clinical consultation and health history review, not a checkout cart. Our providers match dosing and cycle length to your labs, sleep patterns, and goals. Sourced from accredited U.S. 503A pharmacies. Located in Lincoln Park, we integrate DSIP with your existing peptide, IV, or wellness plan for compounded results.

A non-sedative neuropeptide that supports your body's natural deep sleep architecture, stress recovery, and overnight repair.
You sleep seven or eight hours. You still wake up tired. The problem usually isn't time in bed. It's the quality of what happens once you're there. Specifically, how much time your brain spends in slow-wave delta sleep, the deep restorative phase where tissue repair, hormone regulation, and cognitive restoration actually occur.
Delta Sleep-Inducing Peptide (DSIP) is a naturally occurring nine-amino-acid neuropeptide produced in your hypothalamus. It plays a direct role in regulating your circadian rhythm, modulating stress hormones, and promoting the delta-wave brain activity that defines deep sleep. At Better Med Spa in Lincoln Park, our Delta Sleep Protocol uses pharmaceutical-grade DSIP to help clients who are doing everything right (consistent schedule, dark room, no screens) but still aren't getting the restorative sleep their body needs.
This is not a sedative. DSIP does not knock you out. It works with your existing neurological pathways to help your brain transition into and sustain the deep sleep phases that diminish with age, stress, and overtraining. Pricing starts at $234 per month for two months. A clinical consultation and health history review are required before starting.
DSIP therapy at Better Med Spa is designed for clients experiencing specific patterns of sleep disruption, not general drowsiness or occasional bad nights. The Delta Sleep Protocol targets:
DSIP also interacts with the body's opioid, GABAergic, and glutamatergic systems, which means it may offer secondary benefits for stress modulation and pain perception. Some research suggests it can support healthier cortisol rhythms and promote growth hormone release during sleep, which is one of the reasons it pairs well with other peptide protocols focused on body composition and longevity.
DSIP is a neuromodulator, not a sedative. The distinction matters. Sedatives suppress brain activity broadly. DSIP works selectively, interacting with specific receptor systems to promote the natural sleep patterns your brain is already wired to produce.
DSIP crosses the blood-brain barrier and acts on the hypothalamic and pituitary systems that regulate your sleep-wake cycle. It enhances GABAergic (inhibitory) signaling, which helps quiet neural excitability, and attenuates NMDA (excitatory) receptor activity, reducing the overactive brain signals that keep you in lighter sleep stages or cause middle-of-the-night waking.
The result is increased delta-wave brain activity during sleep: the slow, high-amplitude electrical patterns associated with tissue repair, immune function, memory consolidation, and growth hormone release. Research in chronic insomnia patients has shown that DSIP may normalize disrupted sleep architecture without the tolerance, dependency, or morning grogginess associated with pharmaceutical sleep aids.
DSIP influences several hormonal pathways relevant to clients at Better Med Spa pursuing broader wellness goals. It may increase luteinizing hormone (LH) and growth hormone (GH) secretion while helping regulate cortisol output. For Lincoln Park clients already on performance or body composition peptide protocols (like Sleep & Sculpt or Metabolic Sculpt), DSIP can complement those programs by improving the overnight hormonal environment where much of the benefit from those peptides is realized.
The Delta Sleep Protocol uses subcutaneous injection, typically administered in the evening 30 to 60 minutes before your target bedtime. Our clinical team will walk you through proper reconstitution, injection technique, and site rotation during your initial visit. Most clients become comfortable with the process within the first few days. Dosing frequency and cycle length are individualized based on your consultation, labs, and response.
Ready to stop waking up tired?
The Delta Sleep Protocol starts with a clinical consultation to review your sleep patterns, health history, and goals. If DSIP is the right fit, we build a protocol tailored to your biology.
DSIP is one of several peptide options that can support better sleep, and we offer others at Better Med Spa. The right choice depends on your primary goal. Here is how the options compare:
Best for: Clients whose primary concern is sleep depth and quality, especially those with stress-driven or age-related deep sleep loss.
Mechanism: Neuromodulator targeting delta-wave sleep architecture directly.
Secondary benefits: Cortisol regulation, LH and GH support, pain modulation.
Onset: Many clients notice changes within the first week.
Price: $260/month.
Best for: Clients who want both sleep improvement and body composition changes (fat loss, lean muscle preservation).
Mechanism: Growth hormone secretagogue that enhances nighttime GH pulses.
Secondary benefits: Recovery, body recomposition, skin quality.
Onset: Sleep improvements in 2-4 weeks. Body composition changes over 8-12 weeks.
Best for: Clients whose poor sleep is primarily driven by anxiety, racing thoughts, or daytime cognitive stress.
Mechanism: Neuropeptide stack that modulates BDNF, NGF, and GABA pathways.
Secondary benefits: Focus, mood, stress resilience.
Onset: Calming effects within days. Cognitive benefits build over weeks.
Some clients benefit from combining protocols. DSIP pairs particularly well with Selank for patients dealing with both anxiety-driven insomnia and insufficient deep sleep, and with CJC-1295/Ipamorelin for clients whose sleep and body composition goals overlap. Our providers will recommend the right combination (or single protocol) based on your labs and intake.
This is exactly why we require a consultation before prescribing. Our clinical team reviews your full health history, current medications, and goals to make sure DSIP is appropriate and safe for you specifically.
We don't hand you a vial and send you home. Every DSIP protocol at Better Med Spa starts with clinical oversight and stays there.
You'll meet with a provider at our Lincoln Park clinic for a thorough review of your sleep patterns, health history, current medications and supplements, training load, and wellness goals. If bloodwork is needed (and it often is, especially if you haven't had recent labs), we can order panels through our blood diagnostics program to check hormones, metabolic markers, and other indicators that affect sleep quality.
Based on your consultation and labs, your provider builds a personalized DSIP protocol that includes dosing, frequency, cycle length, timing, and any complementary peptides or services. Some Chicago clients benefit from pairing DSIP with a Recovery & Performance IV or magnesium protocol for compounded results.
Our team walks you through reconstitution, proper subcutaneous injection technique, and site rotation. The injections use a very small insulin-type needle, similar to what clients on other peptide protocols are already familiar with. Most clients describe it as virtually painless.
We check in regularly to track your response, adjust dosing if needed, and determine the right cycle length. DSIP does not build tolerance the way sedatives do, but protocols are still individualized and monitored. If your sleep data, subjective reports, or lab markers indicate a need for change, we adjust.
The Delta Sleep Protocol at Better Med Spa starts at $260 per month for a 30-day supply of pharmaceutical-grade DSIP, sourced from an accredited U.S. 503A compounding pharmacy. Pricing as of March 2026. Contact us for current rates.
Your initial consultation is a separate fee and covers the full clinical intake, health history review, and protocol design. If you're already an active peptide therapy patient at Better Med Spa, your provider can evaluate adding DSIP to your existing protocol during a regular follow-up.
DSIP peptide therapy is not typically covered by insurance. We accept HSA and FSA payments. Ask about our wellness membership for clients on multiple peptide or IV protocols, which can reduce your overall monthly cost.
