What are preparation and after care instructions for my Radiesse® appointment?

Radiesse® preparation involves avoiding blood-thinning medications like aspirin, NSAIDs, and alcohol for a few days beforehand, staying well-hydrated, and limiting sun exposure before your appointment. After treatment, patients should use ice packs to reduce swelling, avoid strenuous exercise, intense heat, and alcohol for at least 24–48 hours, and gently cleanse the area without massaging. Mild swelling, bruising, and temporary firmness are common and usually resolve in a few days, with full results visible as Radiesse® settles and stimulates collagen production.

Is Radiesse® only for those over 40?
